Most would agree that perfectly styled, masterfully lit, precisely crafted images are worthy to be framed and hung on a wall. Perfection is a pursuit that few have the time and energy to chase. In light of that, I would suggest that we consider the personal meaning of the candid little moments that make up our lives and fill our phones. They can be equally intriguing, artistic and meaningful. It's the stuff of magic! The spontaneous, unplanned, perfectly imperfect photo ops sneak up on us and can be captured with the tap of a thumb.
If we take a moment to consider the candid little treasures that fill our phones, we might have something with lasting beauty that reminds of a hilarious childhood misadventure, the pure joy of friendship or the crazy styles of clothing and hairdos of a bygone era. Candid photos capture reflections of our lives, snippets in time of the smirks, quirks and all.
Why not set a date with your phone (twice a year) and scroll through your photos. Yes, all of them! Pick a few favorites and convert them into hard copy prints? How about framing a few or creating photo books? Don't wait too long to clear out your phone's photo file or you might feel overwhelmed. It's a task most definitely worth our effort.
Cheering you on!
